New party theme: A Mermaid Party !!!

One of my daughter Chloe's favorite characters is Ariel, the Little Mermaid. So it was no surprise when she requested a mermaid party for her 5th Birthday...
Since I wasn't too keen on the idea of a character birthday, we settled on a mermaid theme but with no obvious reference to Ariel.

I was very fortunate to be contacted by the lovely people at Birthday Express right when I started planning this party because they carry the perfect party range for this birthday !
A beautiful mermaid silhouette range in shades of purple, blues and aqua !!
I was thrilled to discover it :)

I received their Ultimate party in a box package with favors, and let me tell you, it's got everything one needs for a party and more !!!

I got all the usual partyware of course (plates, cutlery, cups, table covers, balloons) but on top of that they sent me a gorgeous Piñata kit (with sweets and favors), party favor boxes and favors, a personalized banner,

and the best were the amazing Giant wall stickers !!! From the start I knew I would be using the mermaid silhouette sticker as the dessert table backdrop...
