{Craft} Button Monogram Letter

I made this cute little frame for Noemie. I have seen lots of button letters lately and I wanted to create one for her bedroom. It is most probably the first of three, so come back for the next two !

I printed a letter (font is PartyLET) and cut around it to use as a template. I then traced the letter directly  on an art canvas. I used a pencil and made a very fine line so it would not show.

I had bought a bag of assorted pink buttons at the Craft Show in October so I already had the supplies. I hot glued the buttons directly onto the canvas.

I wanted to keep the background white since I was using buttons in different shades of pink and white. I figured a fabric background would look a bit too busy. However, when the letter was finished, the frame was a bit bare so I added the pink ric-rac.
